Many times in quarantine I have just listened to “Beautiful Ride” devoid of the movie’s context and almost every time it moves me emotionally. It’s specific like, chord changes that do it for me, I don’t know! This thing kicks but it wouldn’t go as hard if you weren’t able to go “Shit, that’s actually a very good song” for every one of the songs in the movie. I mean don’t get me wrong, the cast is near flawless too- I’m tickled pink every time I see Jack White’s Elvis, and Tim Meadows and Chris Parnell are doing all-time great comedy work here– but the music is outstanding. I love this movie.

I'm just imagining everyone who worked on Walk Hard watching Bohemian Rhapsody on a plane or something and going, "hey...wait a minute..."

There are so many repeat gags in this that I love, Dewey you don't want no part of this, etc., but my favorite is him ripping sinks out of the wall.

They stopped making parody films after this because you literally can’t top this. The Bob Dylan part made me scream!! this whole stupid movie is perfect
