Also important to note that I haven't seen any of these, with the two exceptions being The Texas Chain Saw Massacre, which I wanted to rewatch for the longest time now, and ofcourse John Carpenter's Halloween, which I **hope** my local arthouse-y theater will show close to the release of David Gordon Green's 2018 Halloween so I can catch it there. It will be pretty disappointing if they don't, so here's ho(o)ping they do.

Interestingly, this seemed a bit harder to put together compared to the Hooptober lists of previous years. I tried to include as many classics, recommendations and hooptober skips as I could. I put the hooptober skips of previous years at the front of the list as much as possible, otherwise they'll float in my Hooptober lists for the rest of eternity.
