Last year was my first Hooptober and it was a ton of fun. I've actually been trying to play catch up on the first three years but still have about a third of the way to go. Last year I decided to pick one film for each piece of the criteria, which let me watch 40ish films. This year I decided it would be more fun to try to satisfy the criteria with only 31 films so that I was forced to make some of my movies fit multiple criteria. I'm going to end up watching more than 31 horror films either way, that's for sure. I keep a separate list of all horror watched in that 45 day period - last year's is here. Here is my list for 2018.
