Der Reporter Tom Merrick endeckt bei seiner Recherche zum Thema "Katastrophen des 20. Jahrhunderts", auf verschiedenen Fotos immer denselben Mann. Er begibt sich auf Spurensuche.

Thriller mit Science-Fiction Elementen in richtung Zeitreise von 1999 auf TV-Niveau.
Hab ich mal irgendwann im TV endeckt, seitdem öffters geschaut. Irgendwas hat der Film für mich, weil er gefällt mir gut für das was er ist. Casper Van Dien spielt gut, alle anderen Charaktere sind auch ok.
Nicht der große wurf, aber ein Auge kann man riskieren.

I really like the core idea here, even if the logic doesn't make much sense. I guess this company only has 1 customer? Whatever... set that aside and I found it to be some classically dumb scifi TV movie fun 👍

It has Casper Van Dien holding it down in the lead role. All the 90s tech, computers, gadgets that I saw and grew up with are here. Sci fi plot is schlocky the way I like it. And the explosions are really well done!

Oh and Catherine Bell is a fox!

Neke priče započinju in medias res, a neke ab ovo (to mi koji znamo starogrčki volimo tako reći). Ova započinje naprednom tehnikom extra ovo, tj. izvan jajeta. Naime u toj je tehnici prvo bila kokoš, a zatim jaje u koje je kokoš ušla kako bi se uvukla u rodnicu svoje majke.
Nakon što završi čitava radnja (to će reći nakon punih 5 minuta filma) događaju se još neke stvari, ali mi treba dosta vremena da ih se prisjetim, bilo je to jučer. Sjećam se da smo pili irački mošt, ali to možda nije važno za radnju filma. Tko zna? Sigurno ne scenarist ovog djela. Bratić je otišao na godišnji odmor negdje oko te famozne pete minute pa su se snašli bez njega (ko ga nema, bez njega se može - mlađi brat izreke ko ga nema, nek se javi hahahahhahahahahahha)

This is the action reboot of Timescape (1992), with CVD instead of Jeff Daniels. Surprisingly it manages to be pretty fun B-level schlock. Though some of that is the addition of The Good Witch herself, Catherine Bell. Whose role, just like CVD, was basically to run around lookin' sexy 😁. The script is a mess, dialog cringe, and time travel shenanigans suspect. Watchable, even probably a channel surf halt, but not must-watch.

Pretty dumb and hella cheap, but the time travel ideas aren't terrible and it isn't boring. It's like a less interesting Grand Tour: Disaster in Time.

Une bonne prémise pogné dans un film d'après-midi à TQS en 2002.

Martin Sheen a clairement fait ses scènes en 20 minutes bien assis.

Immediately after this ended, I completely forgot that I watched it and only just remembered. Honestly, it’s not even that bad especially for TV movie standards. I really liked that time traveler guy who looked like discount Wes Anderson.

I watched this as 'Thrill Seekers' which is an awful title, Time Shifters is slightly better!

This is a cheap sci-fi TV movie with terrible acting, a cheesy script and low budget effects and action. However, I quite enjoyed it! It's got a really pulpy sci-fi novel vibe to it and it's quite entertaining and short!

It only came on my radar because I was looking for another film about time travelling tourists, that was 'Timescape' which I'll rewatch soon!
