It would be embarrassing to admit how excited I was to make this list, the only time I come into my own on Letterboxd. All first time watches. Will mark auxiliary adds as "bonus." Tried to keep a fairly balanced selection of deep cuts, missed classics, decades, franchise grinding, underrated gems, etc. Very '80s heavy, but hey, whaddya gonna do. Like focus on creature features this year, would think it's cool for further Hooptobers to make the challenges more based on finding non-male and non-Anglo directors! All I'm saying is that the vast majority of things appearing in search results is '80s and '90s output from white men, would be a legitimately fun challenge to exclude that demographic!
