Jacob Gainsborough’s review published on Letterboxd:
One of my favourite films and possibly the best dark comedy ever put to screen. A film like this feels like a miracle - how does one make a comedy about jihadi terrorists and somehow make it hilarious and put you through a whole range of emotions. The balance between satire, comedy, tender moments, dark scenes and great character development is almost perfect. The way in which you sympathise with the main characters while also being aware of just how wrong and radicalised they are has never been achieved before and still hasn't since. Films like this push the boundaries of cinema and must be watched.
