Welcome to Franchise February. Where the irrepressible horror completist in me attempts to watch as many Horror sequels, or Horror franchise films as I can. I am aiming for at least twenty eight, but we'll see how it goes. It's almost just like an October Horror marathon, except it's in February and it's all Horror sequels and franchise films. Want to catch up on your ongoing Friday The 13th marathon? Need an excuse to finally watch Critters 4: Critters in Space? Have you never see any or all of the nineteen official Amityville sequels? Is waiting a whole year for your October Horror marathon just too damn long? Then Franchise February is the thing for you.

The rules are pretty loose. Just watch anything that you consider a Horror sequel, or that falls under a Horror franchise; e.g. Frankenstein, Dracula, Universal Monsters, Hammer Films, John Carpenter's "Apocalypse Trilogy," Lovecraft adaptations, movies with Jeffery Combs in them, etc. Anything you can think of. Try to watch at least twenty eight, or as many as you can manage, it's meant to be fun so it's up to you.
