Both shocked and not the least bit surprised to discover this was Herk Harvey.

Cheating is one of the best films about sin ever made.

The narrative is incredibly well constructed. In a media res beginning, we see John shrouded in darkness, hanging on the telephone. We hear one half of a foreboding call, and see John's face fall. It's over for him.

John's temptation comes little by little - at every instance of cheating he considers it his last…
