Film 23: 6 decades - the 1930s

Ooops, totally forgot to log this. Well, just because you popularize something doesn't necessarily mean that you're actually really good. Of course it's not really bad and I found the first half to be very intriguing and atmospheric - especially the scene in the mill. After that it kinda lost me and relied way too heavily on Lugosis constipated stares. The vultures were cool though. And in 1932 this must have been pretty scary I can imagine.

Huch, ganz vergessen den hier zu loggen. Tja, nur weil du etwas popularisierst, bist du noch lange nicht wirklich gut darin. Natürlich ist das jetzt kein schlechter Film und die erste Hälfte fand ich sehr ansprechend und atmosphärisch - besonders die Szene in der Mühle. Danach hat mich das Ganze leider etwas verloren und verlies sich zu sehr auf Lugosis verstopftes Gestarre. Die Geier waren aber irgendwie cool. Ich kann mir außerdem vorstellen, dass das in 1932 durchaus sehr gruselig war.
