I had a few choices for this scavenger hunt task, but this popped up in my feed and decided to give it a re-whirl.  I remember watching the first 10 minutes or so years ago but not why I didn’t keep going.  I probably made the right choice back then.   It’s a serviceable enough retread of Heathers and Carrie and doesn’t add a whole lot except a fantastic late 90s soundtrack and a great appearance from the Donnas late in the movie.

It really is quite forgettable and rather tame, but a fun little time capsule to a particular point in time when Rose McGowan and Marlyn Manson were a transgressive thing and Rebecca Gayheart seemed to be in every teen oriented movie.

There wasn’t much else here although it did predate Mean Girls by a few years and covered some similar high school social politics in a slightly nastier way.
