Good “zombie” movie. Different than what a zombie is now. Definitely liked Bela Lugosi’s zombies more. Fascinating how he took their souls (rather than their blood) away from his victims and how the zombies had the possibility of coming back to life if they got their souls back. Would have been nice to see them ravage Lugosi like he said they would do if they got their souls back. Ah well, the dramatic cliff death was good enough I guess.
I really liked the gothic vibe in this. The shadows and fog was great.
