I haven’t watched a Giallo in a month and its nice tor return to one of my favorite genres. A late 60s, pre Bird With The Crystal Plummage entry, produced by Luciano Martino, written by Ernesto Gastaldi and with Sergio Martino consulting.
This is square in the jet set giallo sub sub genre the Umberto Lenzi played in during the period and this also features Carol Baker and Jean Sorel. True to form, there is sex, multiple gorgeous locations and actors, triple crosses and an overall aura of sumptuous excess and decadence. Of course we get a great swinging score as well.
Ahhhhh....I do love me a good giallo. I picked up a Spanish DVD of this but it was worth the effort and the picture looked great. Come on Severin, let’s get this one restored and on Blu Ray!
