Not for me. At the end of the day I watch movies for compelling moving images and if a film can’t give me a single one then I just am not going to enjoy it. Nearly every shot of this film is center framed and edited like a tik tok comedy sketch, save for the few Nicki being creepy in the background shots (see Hereditary). There is no depth to any frame, because everything is shallow focus and zooming. Horror…

I am so beyond disappointed I am verging on grief. Perhaps it is my fault for having this be my most anticipated film of the year, or that I adore the novel and many of the film adaptations.
