Gestern war es endlich soweit: Kill Bill: The Whole Bloody Affair in 70mm und OV! Was soll ich sagen, Freunde? Es war ein Fest, ein Kinoerlebnis der Extraklasse. Tarantinos Vision so, wie er sie immer beabsichtigt hatte.

Die ultimative Version also? Ich würde sagen ja. Der Kampf gegen die Crazy 88 komplett in Farbe und mit erweiterten Gewaltspitzen bockt natürlich extrem. Die längere animierte Rückblende zur Herkunft von O-Ren Ishii ist mir hier hingegen etwas zu ausufernd. Ansonsten fehlen die…

Predator: Badlands

Better the second time around. It may no longer be the classic Predator, but it brings a breath of fresh air to the franchise that I really enjoyed—along with a sound design that hits brutally hard, even on a home theater system.

Besser beim zweiten Mal. Ist zwar nicht mehr der klassische Predator, aber dafür frischer Franchise Wind, der mir Spaß macht und einem Sound Design dass auch im Heimkino brutal reinknallt.
