This is my first Hooptober and essentially my ambitious entry into the Horror genre. The pure fact that the genre coincides with fear has been enough to keep me away for most of my life. Sure, I see an occasional flick every once in awhile, but the sheer number of films in this niche that I will be facing this October will be certainly a change.

I'm excited to see what I take from this experience. Hopefully a new appreciation for the genre as a whole, and some new directorial interests.
