There's always room for seconds.

Last year I tried, and failed, to complete Hooptober for the first time. I only managed to get through six films before throwing in the towel due to... personal circumstances. But not this year.

So here's my Hooptober 4.0 challenge for 2017.

1- 6 Sequels: Land of the Dead, Fright Night Part 2, Vacaciones de Terror 2, A Nightmare on Elm Street 4: The Dream Master, Leprechaun In The Hood, The Exorcist Part III;
2- 6 countries: Mexico, USA, UK, South Korea (Train to Busan), France (Raw), Italy (Invasion of the Flesh Hunters);
3- 6 decades (1930, 1950, 1960, 1970, 1980, 2010);
4- 6 films from before 1970;
5- 6 directors: James Whale (The Invisible Man), Tod Browning (The Devil-Doll, Dracula), Wes Craven (Shocker), Tom Holland (Thinner, Fright Night);
6- 3 people eating people (non-zombie): The Ghoul, Raw, Invasion of the Flesh Hunters;
7- 1 Hammer Film: Dracula A.D. 1972;
8- 1 Romero Dead film (Land of the Dead - rewatch);
9- 1 terrible oversight: Psycho;
10- 2 Tobe Hooper Films (Spontaneous Combusion, The Funhouse).

This time around I decided to go for a LOT of Mexican cinema to pad out the list. Many of these movies are severely underrepresented in terms of reviews and watches here, and I really should be watching more of these, anyway.

I realize that some folks are wondering why It isn't in this list. I decided to not add it because it would feel a bit like cheating the spot from another movie that deserves a watch. :)
