Yet again, I got stuck on the "sequels" requirement. I went into creating this list having pre-gamed by collecting a list of over 75 horror movies I really wanted to see... but only 2 of them were sequels! Anyway, after some reworking and a lot of editing, I've narrowed it to these 31. I'll add more to the bottom of the list throughout the month if I watch horror films not already represented here, so the first 31 films represent my original picks.
