It's the most wonderful time of the year, that's right, it's time for Hoop-Tober. Once again Cinemonster has been kind enough to give us a set of rules for his annual challenge.
As before, I'm adding an additional, self-imposed rule of NO REWATCHES, but I finally had to break it this year because there are no Romero Dead movies that I haven't seen. Everything else is new though.
Rules and the films / etc. that fit their criteria:
6 Sequels (Mix-and-Match) : The Hills Have Eyes Part 2, Land of the Dead, Phantasm IV: Oblivion, Phantasm: Ravager, Scream 2, Scream 3, Scream 4, The Untold Story 2.
6 Countries: Germany, HK, Italy, Japan, Spain, UK, USA.
6 Decades: 60s, 70s,…

6 Countries: Germany, HK, Italy, Japan, Spain, UK, USA.
6 Decades: 60s, 70s, 80s, 90s, 2000s, 2010s.
6 films from before 1970: Curse of the Werewolf (1961), The Innocents (1961), The Evil of Frankenstein (1964), Onibaba (1964), Dracula: Prince of Darkness (1966), The Plague of the Zombies (1966).
6 Films from the Following: Carpenter, Raimi, Whale, Browning, Craven, Holland (Mix-and-Match, by necessity): Carpenter (Ghosts of Mars, Pro-Life), Craven (The Hills Have Eyes Part 2, Scream 2, Scream 3, Scream 4).
3 People Eating People (Non-Zombie): Invasion of the Flesh Hunters aka Cannibal Apocalypse, Last Cannibal World, Mountain of the Cannibal God, The Untold Story 2.
1 Hammer Film: The Curse of the Mummy's Tomb, The Curse of the Werewolf, Dracula: Prince of Darkness, The Evil of Frankenstein, The Plague of the Zombies (I've been meaning to really dive into Hammer's horror offerings, this seems like as good an excuse as any).
1 Romero Dead Film: Land of the Dead (I just rewatched the original Dead trilogy within the past 2 months with Zac Baldwin and Laura Vollenweider, so it seemed fitting to rewatch this one).
1 Terrible Oversight: The Innocents
2 Tobe Hooper: Djinn, The Toolbox Murders
Extra Work (One Film and its Remake): When a Stranger Calls (1979), When a Stranger Calls (2006).
Looking forward to seeing everyone's lists and maybe discovering some hidden gems. Cheers.
