A List to give you The Willies!
Here is my lineup for Hoop-tober 4.0. As in previous years, there will likely be changes depending on my mood. It was pretty brutal trying to fit as many films from my crowded horror watchlist into the criteria, but that's part of the fun! All first time watches. I am striving for 50 (last year I made it to 45), but October is shaping up to be a busy month. We shall see. I will start on Sept 15 per the allowance in the rules. A Happy Hoop-tober to all!!
6 sequels (mix-and-match. 6 total)
Dr. Phibes Rises Again, Return of the Killer Tomatoes, It's Alive III: Island of the Alive, Puppet Master…

6 countries
Kinda thin on this one this year, mostly English language, but technically meets the criteria
Return of the Blind Dead (Spain), Cabinet of Dr. Caligari (Germany), Dead Snow (Norway), Patrick (Australia), Ghostwatch (UK), Mountain of the Cannibal God (Italy).
6 decades
20s, 30s, 60s, 70s, 80s, 90s, 00s, 10s,
6 films from before 1970
Cabinet of Dr. Caligari, The Old Dark House, Mark of the Vampire, Island of Lost Souls, Die Die My Darling, Berserk
6 films from the following: Carpenter, Raimi, Whale, Browning, Craven, Tom Holland (mix-and-match, or all one) This was especially tough, had to dig deep for first time watches.
Summer of Fear, Invitation to Hell, Chiller (Craven x3), Mark of the Vampire (Browning), The Old Dark House (Whale), We All Scream for Ice Cream (Holland)
3 people eating people (non-zombie) Don't know much about these, but they came up under the “cannibal” tag.
Frightmare, Mountain of the Cannibal God, Raw
1 Hammer Film
Die! Die! My Darling
1 Romero Dead film I really don’t want this to be my Romero pick, but it’s the only Dead film I haven’t seen.
Survival of the Dead
1 terrible oversight A couple of these could count, but this seems to be the most glaring
The Cabinet of Dr. Caligari
And 2 Tobe Hooper Films I bought the Crocodile DVD just for this… running low on Hooper.
Crocodile, Spontaneous Combustion
Probably won't participate in the bonus challange as I plan on seeing It before Hoop-tober starts, and have already seen the TV film several times.
