Found the writing at times a little shaky, but the visual language of this was so vivid and immersive. Everything from the design of the zombies, the way the landscape of post-apocalyptic UK is shot, and even the action scenes feels like it's done with intent and thought, something very rare for a film like this.

I found the film to be an affecting portrait of the ways abuse in relationships can manifest itself (verbal and emotional rather than physical, subtle and insidious rather than obvious) but it's unfortunate that the film wasn't necessarily intended to be viewed this way as it's curbed some of the important conversations that could've been had.
