Some projects showcased on YouTube with moderate success should just stay there and not get dragged into a feature on silver screen.
At one point before Clark's mysterious possession the director and crew got mixed up between a normal shoot or a found-footage one.
The sound: impact & design of it was not as good as Mârama, the more impressive film I watched yesterday.
☆☆☆ for the acting, prosthetics, custom designs and unbelievable set decorations.

Boots Riley is my favorite fashionista/ rebel personality with a vivid eye for colorful, poignant films.
The color pallets, spherical lenses merged with old-fashioned ones and bubbly titrage (which brought to mind PTA's Inherent Vice) were a sight to be dazzled in and definitely worth watching it on big screen.
Keke was great she put her heart and soul (also her money - as producer) in this but I couldn't take my eyes off sassy Taylor Page who looked and…

My study of Diane Lane filmography has continued with this seldom discussed new noir mob movie.
She's totally got my heart and soul.

Unbelievable songs, great music in this sound documentary about one of the best music groups of all time.
The cameos by different singers and groups made it extra funky so were the interviews with band members and other personalities.

🎶 'cause I got high 'cause I got high 'cause I got high ...🎶

Oh no - not you too, Mr. Park!
I personally blame Netflix that started it all by financing OkJa, in exchange for access to South Korean market.
So now every auteur filmmaker even Park Chan-Wook tries to make a Parasite.
This film had all the elements of the director's signature style, visuals, gorgeous locations (camera angle on our protagonist/antagonist third kill on the road almost looked like a split-screen shot of cars on one side and a magical cliff on…

I'm glad that I didn't get to see this at one of our repertory cinemas showing movies as part of underground filmfest.
Why? Because with the surround sound, huge screen and seats trembling under and all around me made this viewing a wonderful experience.
Last time I watched a movie in this theater/ format was for Project Hailmary, and that immense as well (I got one grief though that asa end credits start rolling they switch back to standard and…
