was gonna be a 4 star but the ending felt mega rushed to me, still a fun gay time was had by all

loses points for inconsistent acting, sluggish pacing and being a little too on the nose for my liking, but absolutely saved by the practical effects and genuinely good, kafkaesque tension that builds throughout. not sure how much the latter will hold up on a rewatch, but for now i am left satisfied 👅

you can’t help but watch this with a smile on your face

Saw the title of this on the sci fi channel and knew I was in for a doozy. Fat Indiana Jones teams up in a fragile alliance with John Malkovich’s long lost brother to fight this weird half man half griffin thing for like 90 minutes with some of the most hilariously shit special effects I’ve ever seen throughout. Also the fact it’s set in Egypt but at times looked like a swamp in Louisiana had me cackling.
