This absolutely rocks! The animation is incredible, the story has a lot of heart, and the score is awesome! I really hope to see more works from director Wesley Wang in the future and hope that he and his crew can adapt this into a feature film!

Technically, this film is magnificent. The score, cinematography, costume design, and sound design are truly outstanding from start to finish. The details shown throughout the film really help to capture these locations and time period well, even if they overstay their welcome.

Elephants are my favorite animals in the world, I love their intelligence and personalities, their unique physiology, and their seemingly deep connection to the ecosystems in which they inhabit. Overall, I think this film had a really neat idea, but ROUGH execution. This looks like it was made by a film student, the dialogue feels choppy and abnormal, and the camera just does some weird things in terms of framing and being shaky at parts.
There’s a beginning and then suddenly, there’s an end. There’s so much of the story that feels like it’s simply removed from the film and that hurts the quality drastically.
The best way I can describe this film is: father issues with a hint of lesbian love.
