Every* movie that played one of the 42nd Street grindhouse theaters (the Rialto, Victory, Lyric, Times Square, Apollo, Selwyn, New Amsterdam, Cine 42, Liberty, Harris, Empire, and Anco) from May 1978 until November 1993
The listings come from the Village Voice, accessed from my University's microfilm archives. The Voice did not carry listings from the 42nd theaters before May 1978 and it stopped listing them in December 1993 (although only the Harris was still around by then and it only had about six months left).
Films are in alphabetical order. If you want to see what film played where, when, and on a double/triple bill with what, consult the PDF below, which gives a week by week listing of what…

I retained the original names as listed in the Voice, so if you want to know when The 36th Chamber of Shaolin played, you'll have to search for Master Killer.

Update 10/2018- Thanks to Adam for tracking down alternate titles for some of the kung fu films missing from the list. While there are still some that are MIA, I've added about 60 more kung fu films that played 42nd street.
Update 5/2023 I have finally gotten around to adding the porn films from the V.V. theater listings, which amounts to almost 300 films. The porn theaters stopped advertising in the Voice in the early 80s, so there aren't any films beyond 1982 and most are from the 70s.
*While the listings have come a long way since I first posted them (especially with the addition of porn to letterboxd), there are still some MIA titles, especially kung fu or porn that played under weird alternate titles. Still, this is pretty damn close to a complete portrait of 42nd Street during the era right before Disney and Giuliani ruined it.
