This review may contain spoilers. I can handle the truth.
me, getting murdered in a neon house of horrors: wow i love this aesthetic :)
dario argento wants to fuck the primary colors and u know what, i think we should let him
dario argento: *bashes me over the head with a neon light while Goblin is screaming in my ear*
me: wow.............thank you so much
Me, pretending to know what I'm talking about: hmmmmm....I'm sensing a very strong theme of ummm red? don't know if anyone else caught that just throwing things out there.....
that $70 blu-ray was worth every goddamn penny to see this movie in its truest form, the horrific dubbing especially
not really at all scary nowadays but oh bitch that spooky ass score... i was popping my ass so hard they did not let me rest
Watching Suspiria makes me forget that anything else exists. I forget every color that isn't on screen, every piece of music that isn't playing, and most importantly every other film that has ever been made.
It's a nightmare. A perfect, impossible, neon nightmare that makes me lose myself. And I love every goddamn second of it.
