Every year Cinemonster concocts this challenge, and it's been a ton of fun every year I've done it. I don't ordinarily do these challenges (I have 3 kids and a full-time job so it can get hairy) but this is the exception and, to be honest, I look forward to it all year.
Here are the rules that Cinemonster laid down and how I will be fulfilling them:
QUICK EASY RULES:
10 'Anniversary Films' (Release years end in an 8, excluding 2018)- Piranha, The Man Who Laughs, Rope (yeah, kind of a cheat), Halloween, Monkey Shines, Night of the Living Dead, Let the Right One In, Child's Play, Kuroneko, Pet Sematary
6 countries- Italy (Your Vice is a Locked Room...),…

Also, I acquired all of the "Nightmare on Elm Street" films on DVD at a thrift shop last year and have been looking for an excuse to watch them, so that's happening too. (I've only previously seen the first one and 3)* And I've made it a tradition over the past four years to watch "Halloween" on Halloween so I'm gonna keep that rolling too.
Follow along and join the fun! Cinemonster says we can start as early as September 15th, so I'll probably start rolling through these then.
*Looks like the "Nightmare" marathon isn't going to happen. Maybe next year.
