Join SIFF for Talking Pictures, a series of film experiences where local luminaries host a screening of a film of their choice at SIFF Cinemas and share with audiences how it has impacted them. On June 28, award-winning science fiction writer, Ted Chiang, will present Looper (2012) at SIFF Cinema Downtown.

This year, SIFF screened 203 films across the 11-day Festival, and those features and shorts competed in Juried Competitions and vied for Golden Space Needle Audience Awards, announced May 17 at The Vera Project.

Today we are beyond honored to welcome the 11th Cohort of 4th World Media Lab Fellows, a constellation of deeply creative, community-rooted Indigenous artists living across Turtle Island and Pasifika, whose work reflects both rigor and heart.
