I'm gloved

another major picture from steve about how film is the most powerful force in the universe, except this time as a resolving force for the mind's sickness instead of its origin. loved it, firth is giving the most sexually charged performance that I have ever seen in this

casting fucking vic mignogna as james sunderland in a silent hill fan-film is perhaps the saddest bit of cognitive dissonance i've seen in a movie all year. just awful.

utterly abysmal in every way. not content to merely be a fucked up romance - which it may have succeeded at! - it aims for the crown of "worst message movie you have ever seen", in keeping with fennell's previous. it isn't shocking enough to work as a study in provocation and whatever it has to say about class and sexuality is offensive when given a charitable reading. completely out of touch and not even in a way that gives insight into the mind of its author. who is this for?
