Magnificent in its subtlety, elegant in its bold duality. The little things always get to me: the teeth, the box, the rain, the red... I didn't expect to like this at first. Most films don't depict sadomasochism properly. I should've trusted Buñuel. It's now my most rewatched film of his. The only way to get rid of a temptation is to yield to it.
