Yes, I still breathe. Yes, I should have made this post earlier. Yes, I suck in general. I just feel such a disconnect from this journal that I have not gotten around to updating or logging in OTL

I've actually moved to aentee a while ago, but never got around to making that change here. I guess it's because I've always used this particular journal for iconing... so I never really thought about it until I myself started iconing again asfuhdfhs;

So yes, I am a terrible friend so for those who still has me on their f-list, I'm very sorry. If you are still interested in me for some inexplicable reason, I'll be glad to have you at aentee.

I'll still leave this journal up because all my oldest icons are here and awww, I can't get rid of that, not even out of shame XD But otherwise, goodbye all~!

Took my brother to the hairdresser today upon his request. He is getting incredibly vain these days... Me thinks he is in love. I am feeling somewhat miffed over this. Is this what they call Empty Nest Syndrome??? *bricked*

In better news though, I found Shojo Beat today in Borders ;____;♥ I've searched high and low for this magazine so I am very happy <3 In a few days I will come to the realisation that paying so much for a manga magazine is just stupidity, but for now let me squee over it.

TOO.MUCH.PHYSICS. Other than that it's good as I only have 1-2 lectures a day XD But all my spare time is then devoted to studying for physics anyway (or it should be... if I stop coming online so much 8D) I also have a Philosophy test on Wednesday and I've only turned up to 2 of those lectures this year orz... I blame the early start it has :D

2. when is that icon post
When I figure out how to make pretty non-Clamp icons XD I'm not as into Clamp series anymore but apparently I only know how to make Clamp icons orz... And I'm mostly on my laptop now which fails, because it only has Photoshop 7.0 I want my CS3, with its pretty photo filter function <3

3. if you could meet anyone on your flist, who would it be
Bah I can't choose, how about a huge (or not so huge cos my f-list is um, moderately sized 8D) LJ union.

4. what have you been reading/watching
Too much manga for my own good XD Most recently I read a couple of volumes of Swan, hooray for totally girly ballet manga 8D And a couple of days before that I read Pluto by Naoki Urusawa, which was absolutely awesome, I enjoy this one a lot more than his Monster. As for watching, hm... the Korean version of Hana Yori Dango. And the lameness that is New Zealand's Next Top Model ): I cringe in shame for my country.

5. what's better: being loved or loving someone unconditionally
I haven't been in love for a while now (well on my way to being the dried up old ladies I use to fear) so experiencing that again would be nice. But... I WANT BOTH >) *greedy*

And um... apparently people can comment on this post and I will also give them 5 interview questions if they wish. Or something like that 8D

The first semester of our year started last week, and waking up at 5:30am to go lecture every morning sure takes some getting used to -__-;;; As does my tiny Optometry class of 40 people XD We don't even fill up the tiniest lecture hall they have to give us, it is sort of sad ;~;

Anyway, my complaints today will be directed towards Viz Media. They licensed Kimi ni Todoke, which is all well and good, but what's with this cover?!. So fail, so ugly... it looks like the designer took about 2 minutes putting it together on Photoshop. This had better not be the end product ;__; Just when I thought they were getting better at this cover design business after being impressed by Otomen volume 1.

Luckily, on the manga front, there is the return of Nodame Cantabile after many long months to keep me happy :3

And it also seems the scary happenings in my neighbourhood has decreased considerably with the cold weather :) Thank you for the concern of those who commented in the last post, I am fine and will try my hardest to continue to be :D

Only a week left of my 4 months long holidays ~! Next Friday I have Optometry orientation and I am so going to get lost on the new campus shfjdhfsh >: Ah well it'll be good to get back to Uni since then I'll spend less money on useless shit like... manga XD No, no, I lied, manga is not useless, it brings me joy~~~

But nonetheless, we must invest less money in manga and more on textbooks *nods* At least the presence of the latter on my bookshelf will make me look smart >)

I've just spent the last few weeks staying over at a Uni dorm and mentoring younger students. Good news is, they were far cuter than I had anticipated ♥~ Bad news is now that the mentoring period is over, I am going to miss them T^T

I saw a shooting star the other night, but mistook it for fireworks and so didn't make my wish in time *shakes fist* I could have used it to, seeing how badly I performed in my Med interview last week ^^; The whole interview was a bit on the random side though, one of the interviewers asked even asked me how I would initiate conversation with a stranger I'm stuck in the lift with XD

The result apparently comes out end of this week though, so I guess a happy or sad Christmas is dependent on this ~

As subject line says, midterms are finally over ♥~ And for the first time ever, I'm really happy with my results :D The fact I didn't fail alone is rather amazing, accounting that I spent study time marathoning Nodame Cantabile on Onemanga instead XD; Speaking of which, it still makes me a bit sad thinking about it now ;~; I do hope Chiaki and Nodame finds a happy end /nonsense.

There's a class party tomorrow that requires us to dress up as a doctor or a nurse to attend. Why oh why is there a theme~ I might just buy a toy stethoscope from the $2 shop in the morning and call my outfit done XD

Physics test really killed me today ;~; Lucky it was only worth 7.5% ~ And we got locked into the room for 20 minutes after it was done and all the lights went off, what what XD;

But Biochemistry tomorrow is worth half the course, *spazzes* ~ I want to sleeeeeep T3T Can all the amazing net people out there tell me how it is that you guys manage to stay lively with less than 8 hours of sleep per night? *is weak*

Finally my laptop is fixed :D So how are you all? I'm currently reading manga, having given up on Physics already ^^; At least reading Team Medical Dragon is somewhat related to my degree, yes? I have a paper on organ systems after all, so the connection is there 8)

I can't wait for the week to end though, two weeks of freedom >)! It's about time too, it's been so rainy here lately I just want to stay shut inside.

Um. Is it normal to have your classmates try sabotage you during your Chemistry labs? XD? This didn't happen to me personally. But one of my friends overheard 2 guys in her lab plotting to spill over some poor girl's test tubes so they can ruin her experiment. fhasgfhgsfgd WTH?!!

Then on the day I did the same lab, another friend of mine got all her test tubes stolen by some halfwit when she left them for a while on their own in the water bath o__o;; Sure it could have been a mistake. But all the test tubes were literally gone, meaning someone must have been taking them all deliberately D: To make it all worse, after the lab an acquaintance of mine said his group partners was really confused about today's assignment -- but he didn't help her because "she wanted to get into Medicine as well."

Um... WTF. These people becoming the future doctors of the country? DO NOT WANT!

Uni's been killing me lately D: I don't get home till like 11 most night because I'm there studying like the cool cat that I am XDD;; But it's still really fun, if that makes sense? :D? I guess I just really love the people. The workload though? It is lame D:!!

SO anyway, while everyone else around here went partying with their uni friends last weekend, I went with mine to a classical orchestra concert instead, because we're just that awesome 8DD;;

Happy Easter to all those who celebrates it :D I have a 6 days holiday for Easter, I think I'm meant to use it to study for my mid-term or something, but whatever ♥~

Easter weekend started out with a bang for me, quite literally .__.; Our bus rammed into this car on Thursday night, I think the passengers survived although the car itself was pretty much fucked.

On a happier note, I have recently surfaced from the Dark Ages and got myself broadband 8D;;

Sorry for the lack of updates guys, I just started University and has thus been consumed by RL XD For everyone who doesn't know, I'm doing a degree in Biomedical Science. Practically everyone in my course is doing it because they want to get into medicine -- it's so scary u.u I am vaguely disturbed that all the library books we need for this course are currently GONE. Wtf people, it's only the second week in.

But all in all, it has been so cool :D And I don't have to get to class till 1pm, which is always awesome ~!

In other news, strange spots are appearing on my face... I'm sure they aren't pimples or mosquito bites, but what the hell could they be? I've had chicken pox before. Urgh, it's high time I get myself to the doctors. Might have to do a blood test though. Woes.

I've developed such a sweet tooth recently -- this will not end well ;A; This is really weird, since I've never liked sweets anyway, even when I was a child. But in the past few days, there's this strange tingling on my gum and my teeth feels more sensitive. They still look fine though, so maybe I'm just being dramatic :|

A research on my University site shows that students usually access the information and course work available on the web at 2am. Yup, that pretty much sums up our lives XD

1. I'm one of those people that puts on weight really easily, but I also lose weight really quick as well. For instance, I gained 3kg after the 3 weeks I spent in Vietnam -- but after a week of exercising that dieting when I'm back in NZ, I've lost 4kg 8D My cousins say that I'm like an inflatable doll >3>

2. I have a love for round, roughly spherical food -- like potatoes, bananas, eggs, etc.. XD

3. When I'm doing work and school related stuff, I only ever use Gelly Roll Fine pens. I don't actually know why, but I'm kinda OCD about it 8D I have them in all the colours as well, so my school book is quite blinding XD

4. I'm very magpie-like when it comes to shiny, glittering objects -- which is a real danger for my bank account ;~;

5. I hate coins, I always try and get rid of mine. Even going as far as bullying people around me into exchanging notes for my coins 8D

6. I am so clumsy and lost that all my friends have taken to holding my hands whenever we cross the road in fear that I'd get run over if I crossed myself.

7. I can't stay in one spot when I'm brushing my teeth. Mum have told me off so many times for wandering around the house whenever I brush my teeth XD But I really can't help it~~!

MERRY CHRISTMAS!!!

I hope you all had a good Christmas?? Sorry for the long period without any update, I've been busy holiday-ing 8D

Anyway, let me tell you about my Christmas Eve. I spent it with my "husband-to-be" (by husband to be I mean the guy my mother's friend (meaning said husband's mum) is trying to set me up with). But not only with husband to be, but with his friends as well -- I must have looked like a real slag since I was the only chick there. But anyway~ the worst part is that husband to be and his friends are all sorta sleazy~~ I will post pictures later~~

Um what else~~ I have yet to learn the art of haggling!! Since I'm such a pushover and all XD;; Lucky there are other people who do the talking for me here. There was this once where the lady tried to sell me a pair of shoes for VN220; in the end it only turned out to be VN100... XD And my aunty still maintained that I paid too much for it.

Hai guys 8DD!! I am currently in Vietnam right now and dying a very slow and painful death through sheer heat.

Within the 12 hours I've been here, I've been pickpocketed, subjected to the cheesiness of several lecherous guys, was groped in broad daylight, seen a man pee in the middle of the streets, been caught in the smog and loudness of rush hour traffic (it's road rage everywhere you look here XD, got squirted with a water gun by someone's three years old brat, eaten way more than is necessary, been given the evils for prancing around in short shorts, gotten called fat and ugly by a random lady.... So all in all, it's been fantastic :DD! I just hope I have enough money to last the entire trip ;_;

And how have you guys been? ♥~?

I got my first Clamp no Kiseki volume today 8DD! Borders suddenly decided to be generous and gave me a 50% off voucher -- so I got it for NZ$20 *A* They only had 2 volumes there though D: I wanted volume 2 for Clover damn it! So I sat there debating whether I wanted mini Subaru or mini Kamui; but in the end I decided I'd rather have the volume concerning X rather than get the Chobits volume 8DD! Soel & Larg looks so happy with their booze bottles ;~;

The Aussie relatives are coming today~ I hope I don't pick up their accents O:

Uni was lame today since our Physiology Lab got cancelled D8 We ended up listening to some dude talk about placenta donations for Science instead ;~;

Anyways, I should be getting back to Christmas card writing now!

My friend took me to perm my hair today as an early birthday present after the English exam ♥♥~ She's so sweet :3 And I'm so happy since permed hair means not having to brush it when I wake up in the morning \o/!! The lady says I'm not allowed to wash my hair today and tomorrow though D8

Only 5 exams left to go now :3 And I have graduation dinner the week after next~ Wondering what I should wear to it now -- I won't have time to buy a new dress since I have summer school; gah!

Anyway; girliness aside. Kelsey! I think we should collab sometimes again soon :3
