CBR seems to think it's Jaime, while this report suggests it will be Ted.

It would make sense for them to use Ted, given Arrow was forced to scrap using him in Season Three and replace him with Ray Palmer, stating that "DC had other plans for Ted."

Bear in mind, of course, that the film is only in development. It could be a long time before this project hits theaters, if ever. It took over a decade for Mad Max: Fury Road to get made, after all.

Still. BLUE AND GOLD GOOFY BUDDY COP MOVIE. NOT A DREAM! NOT A HOAX! NOT AN IMAGINARY STORY!

Comixology sale - Booster Gold (2007-2011)

Comixology is having a seven-day sale on "The World of (the New 52) Future's End (The Future is Now)". A bunch of relevant titles are currently 99c per digital issue - there's some Future's End, Batman Beyond, two flavours of Hawkman, and some Frankenstein stuff. I didn't even know DC had a Frankenstein. The things you learn during comic book events.

Booster Gold comics can be found here.

I haven't read anything of this run (aside from scans and reviews posted here). I was thinking of getting the arc with Ted, but going by covers it looks like Ted (or Ted-ness) turns up fairly consistently. Thankfully this sale extends over my payday, so I get get the whole lot.

(If you have any questions about Comixology, this post will probably be an okay place to ask them.)

There's a two month event called Convergence that Septembers' Booster Gold one shot was leading into. Basically the baddie he was dealing with is mucking with time and capturing different timelines. Flashpoint, Kingdom Come, Tangent, Charlton, DC pre-new 52 and a couple others. The boys show up in these solicits which will conclude the next month.
I'm guessing the bulk of y'all are over on Tumblr not reading this post, but just in case anyone missed the news (and in hopes of getting a more coherent discussion going on than Tumblr's setup allows for) I figured I'd mention this here: after nine long years, Ted Kord is back, in Forever Evil #7. And he looks HILARIOUS:

Thoughts, feelings, flailings? Personally, though that art is dreadful and I'm hoping future appearances will fix his hair and his giraffe neck, I'm thrilled to see that he still can't dress himself worth a damn. Oh Tedward, baby, how I've missed your conviction that gray goes with brown goes with black.

Okay, found quite a few awesome fics over on AO3- but here's one I thought everybody here should see. It's the Want verses Need Series by Chibimono- and it is sheer perfection. Boostle, Rani, the time family- what's not to love?
http://archiveofourown.org/series/14612

I know I'm a relative newcomer who almost never does anything here, but I would like to appeal to all of you here. As some of you may know, the Young Justice cartoon has heavily featured Jaime in their most recent season -in fact, the Reach has been acting as the main antagonist for a good chunk of the more recent episodes. However, Cartoon Network has cancelled both it and Green Lantern: the Animated Series. There is some hope though: it has been stated that if we can change their minds in the next two months, they will revoke that decision.

This is where you come in. I'm mailing a box containing meaningful elements from both shows and, since that won't take up much space, filling up the rest of the box with letters that fans email to me. Since sending only a handful of letters won't pack much of a punch, I'd be grateful if those in this community familiar with the shows in question write up letters for me to include or at least pass the information on.

The letters would be sent to my email ( forcomicvine@gmail.com ) by 12:00 PM Eastern Time on Monday, February 4, though if someone needs me to extend the time I would be willing to do that.

tl;dr: I'm sending a box of letters to CN to try and change their minds about cancelling the current DC Nation lineup. If it's convenient, please write a letter or pass the message on to someone who might.

Thank you for your time!

I'm bummed because I want Jaime to have a book, but it's no secret I wasn't enjoying this one. Fingers crossed that his new team book, Threshold, is better!

Potentially great news for our favorite Baby Beetle!

Written by Keith Giffen, [Threshold] will star DC's sci-fi heroes and villains, combining them with new characters and concepts —along with the writer's special brand of humor.

...

When it launches, Threshold will feature two stories: A main story drawn by Tom Raney titled "The Hunted," then a back-up feature titled "Larfleeze."

"The Hunted" will incorporate space-based characters like the Omega Men, Blue Beetle, Star Hawkins, and a new Green Lantern named Jediah Caul. "Larfleeze," the back-up drawn by Scott Kolins, will allow Giffen to play around with the title character, one of the most popular Lanterns introduced in recent years.

(Source)

Not precisely the Hawkins I wanted Jaime hanging out with and I worry what this means for his supporting cast, but at least this means there's a good chance he'll be in a fun title again.
