Bonsucro Inspire Awards 2026 shortlist revealed
We are thrilled to have received a long list of project submissions from across the globe, reflecting a wealth of innovative thinking, creative problem-solving and enthusiasm to share knowledge with the wider sector, so that others may be inspired to develop projects that accelerate sustainability in sugarcane.
Our panel of judges had a difficult task but have selected a shortlist of three projects per category, which you can find below. Congratulations to the shortlisted candidates and thanks to all those who submitted an entry.
Update: Following the cancellation of Bonsucro Global Week 2026, we are pleased to bring the Bonsucro Inspire Awards ceremony online on 27 May 2026. Finalists will receive an email invitation with full details.

Continuous Improvement Award
Continuous improvement is at the centre of our work at Bonsucro. Each year, we ask our members to report on their commitments, progress and plans on sustainable production, processing and sourcing in the annual ‘Continuous Improvement Report.’
The report is not just an accountability tool; it also offers visibility on where members are on their journey and allows us to support them with their next steps.
We want to recognise those committed to their own continuous improvement. This award will be given to the organisation who scores highest in our Continuous Improvement Report.
All members that submit a report will be automatically considered for this award. The winner will be announced at the Awards Ceremony.
