[The journal entry begins almost like you guys are watching a really wobbly, homemade film. Finally, after bouncing around quite a bit, it focuses on one of Zhaneel's big ole golden eyes.]

Aarrrrrrrrra! You sssssshould come to Kloe'sssssss room and drrrrrrrink with ussssssss.

[She barely gets it out before she is chortling with mirth, beak agape.]

Therrrrrrrre arrrrrrrre many drrrrrinksssssss herrrrre.

In fact... everrrrrrrrryone ssssssshould come! Enjoy the drrrrrrrinksssssss...

[She looks away from the journal and over her shoulder, clearly speaking to someone there.]

Kloe... do we have enough drrrrrrrink forrrrr everrrrryone???



[Added a few minutes later, although just as drunkenly.]

Kloe ssssssaysssssss to brrrrrring morrrrrre drrrrrrrink if you come. Ssssssshe doessssss not rrrrrrrun a dambarrrrr... I do not know what a dambarrrrr is, but sssssshe mosssst cerrrrtainly doessss not rrrrrun one.

[The gryphon's voice is soft and cautiously curious; she has not heard from her sister or close friends in nearly a week or more and this worries her.]

Aara... Varric... Kloe... Isabella...?

I have not heard from you in several days... [It felt better to lessen the time to days rather than weeks.] Are you well?

[Zhaneel has much on her mind and it's already caused several sleepless nights. Aara's post had only made he matter that much more apparent and the gryphon knew she had to takes steps. There were those here that watched out for her and those she cared for more than even herself, but she was not helpless.

So, with this in mind, she takes the first step in trying to bring a semblance of reason to the madness that has surrounded her of late. Her voice is soft and almost timid when she speaks. The fact that she is uncomfortable might have something to do with that; she had no doubt that atleast Kloe would be upset about her reaching out as she was about to.]

Ssssandrrrath... I... may we ssssspeak?

[After Lord Deior announcement, Zhaneel finds herself a bit out of sorts as to how she should proceed. This being the case, she can only ask for help and hope the information she is given will prove effective.]

There is to be a party at the Keep in celebration of Hallow's Eve... I have never attended a costumed celebration before and could use help.

[She's staring at a rather wide variety of costumes strewn about the clothier's tower right now, actually.]

I cannot make head nor tail over these garments ..

[She's trying, bless her heart, but what does a gryphon wear to a costume party?]

[Perhaps it was the amnesia, or perhaps it was something deeper, but when Zhaneel wakes in the Keep after her unfortunate death she doesn't panic. In fact, she spends several minutes trying to recollect anything that might help her in this situation.

Nothing helps. However, the journal sitting on the small desk in 'her' room is certainly a place to start.

Deior's letter is the first bit of information .. followed by a bit more reading.

And confusion. LOTS of confusion. Cause there is someone in this journal that has her face .. but she can't recall ever being here ..

When Zhaneel speaks, her voice is full of said confusion.]

Ahh .. Heyla .. Can someone tell me what has happened? I have read the missive from the Lord of this place, but .. I do not have any memory of this place .. And yet it seems as though I have left my mark on this book.

[A soft keen slips from her beak before she clamps it shut.]

What has happened? Why do I not remember?

Hi guys and girls! I've just joined holloways_keep with Zhaneel and I'll be using the same journal for both (since It's a paid account.) I have set up my filters for her, and will make a point of noting whether the posts are for [rpg]holloways_keep or [rpg]vertiline_rpg in the tags, as well as the subject line, but wanted to give a heads up in her journal as well.

If this is impossible and isn't going to work, please just tell me and I'll make a new account or figure something else out. :\

If there is anyway I do not know of that allows me to post to only select filters, please let me know.

[Zhaneel is back .. again .. and although one on hand she's happy to be alive, she'd really kind of hoped that she might stay dead this time. ;____;

Her voice is rather soft, but you can bet your damn bottom dollar that she's thinking up other ways that might prove more permanent than a brain eating bear.]
