HQ Services Touristiques was founded in 2013 and was transfered to Émilie in 2022 at the age of 23 years old.
Here is what happened since then :
- The business quadrupled;
- An office opened in the heart of Old Quebec’s Lower Town near the main hotels and cruise docks;
- The best human beings to run the operations of the business and the best guides of Quebec City were hired;
- Émilie’s partner, Émile, started working full time supporting the company’s growth (yes Émile & Émilie hihi)
- The first little boss was born, Henri, and soon the second, Alizée, expected in July 2026;

Situated in Old Quebec’s Lower Town near the main hotels and the main cruise docks
We are in fact the nearest group walking tour departure point from the cruiseships docking in Quebec City and only a few to a 20 minute walk from any hotel in Old Quebec.
The funicular
Since most of our tours start in the lower town and end in the upper town, the funicular going up is included to avoid walking up the main big hill of Old Quebec named Côte de la Montagne.
If for any reason the funicular is closed, for maintenance for example, we will offer the group to gradually walk up the hill and receive a ticket to use later or we organize a taxi ride to replace the funicular.els and cruise docks. She is not alone anymore, since she can count on a team of the best human beings she knows at the office but also the tour guides.
Winter tours and Winter Wear Rentals
Quebec City has four real seasons and Winter is simply magic.
All our tours are available year round and to make them more accessible, you can borrow or rent winter accessoires or clothing at our office to avoid being cold. This is the main advantage of booking with us during winter, we care and we take care of you.
We also have a sister company, Tuque & mitaines, offering Winter Wear Rentals, an all-in-one package with delivery included in Montreal and Quebec City (Mont-Tremblant available upon extra an fee).
