Just added some worms to the bin, finally. I hope they do okay.

I've decided to ride my bike to work, and so I didn't buy a scooter. Eventually I might buy land in the county north of here... so I'd probably need a truck. I have serious concerns, though, that cheap oil is going to run out soon. My bets are 10/gallon by next year.

My tomatoes finally sprouted after a week. They look like they aren't especially healthy, but maybe that will change when they get their true leaves. I need to plant other stuff, got some seed potatoes. My roommate sounds like he's getting on board for the chickens, or at least is down with me doing it. I'd rather just work on these projects than do my homework =]

I got my worm bin going on, but it needs some inhabitants. I feel it's about that time of year to start some tomatoes and peppers. I'm also thinking of doing a 10x10 ft patch of different cover crops in the backyard, to be cut down for whatever would be grown in the late summer or fall, though I'm not sure if I'll still be living here then or not. You can buy the mycorrhiza with the seeds. Check out Paul Stamens if you haven't btw.

Gonna go look at some scooters this weekend, torn between Ya'mamaha and Honduh. But... I am thinking around 125 cc, so I can go on the highway. First vehicle ftw.
