I finally hit 1k with Illyria! So time for a relationship meme! Or just a question meme in general, actually, because I feel like avoiding my study and asking the zombie chickens question of everyone.

So tell me who you play as I have a brain like a strainer and probably can't remember, then: ASK A QUESTION it can be anything CFUD related, OOC, IC, Relationship, psychology, thoughts, whatever. I.E. Reason For Apping: I got sucked into CFUD through following the Saiyuki cast hijinks and then stalking ItaNeji, and decided I wanted to play there and that Cher would totally work in camp.
Reason For Dropping: I'd been gradually losing steam and neglecting Cher's CR for over a year but I was attached to Cher for being my first (and at that point only) character so I decided I wouldn't drop unless Himejima did. So when Himejima left camp Cher left a week later.
Select Option 3? I was pretty crap from start to finish but the Eurotrash stereotypes post where Cher, Rey and Hatsuharu ended up on an island on the middle of the lake was probably the most fun I ever had in RP. I also cried like a baby when I threaded with Ryuuken in Cher's drop post. ;_;

Rictor

IC: He would really like to battle giant robots or work in a team or have Cable miraculously show up so he and Jubilee could make him play truth or dare right now! Restless, torn between trying to relax and going mad from boredom, but having more good days than bad right now. He loves Dairine being around even if it confuses him when he acts Dad-ish, and he's got buddies like Jubilee to pal around with, so mostly he's good.

OOC: I still love his character so so much but I'm burned out on the testosterone and paying attention to the soapie-ish drama in canon right now. I will pull out of this slump again but, honestly, the fact that I've played a character with a Y chromosome so much still confuses me a little.

Urge to play: 2/5 but likely to rise again any time soon

Batwoman

IC: She can't feel anger right now so she's feeling confused and acting strangely pleasant.

OOC: I don't play her a lot because she tires me out quickly and I'm always worried about living up to her canon awesomeness but I love her aaah so much. I can't imagine ever having a reason to drop her. I'm sorry I don't get to play with most of the batcast much because timezones and not having net at work top me terribly. I'm really enjoying seeing where the CR with Batgirl goes.

Urge to play: Currently 3.5/5. Or 1/2, rather.

IC: SHE JUST HAS A LOT OF FEELINGS!!! Also, her head hurts.

OOC: I have so many plans! I love playing Illyria. It's so fun because she's so weird. I feel like her crazy makes her strangely versatile. I can drop her in on almost anyone and they'll be equally flipped out or intrigued. Maybe at some point doing the 'back in the old days uphill both ways in the snow when all humanity was muck at my feet' speech but not any time soon. I just want to play her all the time.

Ignore my use of female pronouns. Illyria's only in the shape of a woman.

State of the me: I am only four days a week at work now and I dropped down to part time studies so my schedule is a lot clearer than it would otherwise be. I actually have time to play and might remember what my characters have done longer than half an hour ago, now. I am still deeply in grief, though, and can't get on the net between 11pm through to 5pm the next day my time on weekdays. I have the desire and not always the energy and the ability. But I'm not leaving again any time soon.

Okay! So, Angel: After the Fall is the official comic book continuation of Angel, the season six they never got to show on TV, co-plotted by Brian Lynch and Joss Whedon. I love it! And will axe people in the face if they dare to doubt its canonicity.

I am taking Illyria from right after After the Fall #17. What does this mean for you who may potentially play off her? Not a lot, admittedly.

For the psychics: She has multiple people's memories of Fred, and due to magic and all that those people have multiple sets of memories of Fred. Confusing stuff, I should imagine.

Also, this one time, she tried to end existence. Whoops!

I really just uploaded the tentacular icons because oh gosh prettiest giant tentacle monster ever!

Abilities:
- High level of strength, see also can put her fist through heads.
- Definitely not invulnerable but can take a heavy beating. Stab wounds irritate her.
- Can tell if you're human/demon/vampire etc.
- Can change her appearance.
- Sometimes, in the right circumstances, she is a giant scary powerful crazy batshit cephalopod. It's a thing.
- Other things, watch this space.

Notes for the Psychics/Magically or Spiritually sensitive: Ancient and somewhat unhinged super-demon in the hardened corpse of a young woman, with multiple sets of memories - you can get in there but I'm not sure why you'd want to.

Can I shapeshift/bodyswap/spit at/step on/etc?: You can try.
Hugging/kissing/other non-violent physical contact: Not if you value the use of your limbs.
Maim/Murder/Death: If you think you're hard enough. ETA No maiming, please and thank you, but death and other violence is A-OK. Encouraged, even!

Canon: Angel is a television and comic book series about the world's angstiest vampire detective slash champion of good as he seeks redemption for the evil deeds of his past, as well as the lives of those around him as they help him help the helpless.

Illyria was an ancient demon god-king - that looked like a cross between an armored tank and an evil giant squid - from the time of the Old Ones when nightmares walked the earth. Resting in a sarcophagus for thousands of years, Illyria first appeared as the infectious dust that slowly killed Angel's friend and co-worker Fred. Now Illyria walks among humanity, wearing the hardened shell of the woman she killed and reminiscing about the good old days of giant armies and monster war. Illyria might not the scary pure demon she once was but she can still put her fist through your head when she's in a bad mood.

They will come to me, with their disputes devoid of any significance or reason, and I will dominate them! I think I'm going to like it here.
