Mood: 3.5-4.5?
More tired than usual for last two weeks, but better today. Yay, I actually got out of bed before 10am today. It's been awhile since I've managed to do that. Yes, very sad. Rain, rain, and more rain (though really, I should not complain). I finally got the right bolt/screws for my skates at Inline Skate when I went down to the south bay for Gaburi's vet appointment on the 27th. Gaburi's eye is slowly healing and he is eating and drinking his water more now :) I enjoyed rotating and putting on all 8 wheels at last, so now, I'm waiting for the weather to get better and to get into the mode of skating again. I've started to knit this week, which has led to me spending hours in front of the TV watching ST:TNG, ST:DS9, and various nature documentaries while I sit on the couch and knit. It feels good even though I also feel guilty for spending all those hours "just sitting" instead of drawing. I still haven't made much progress on the propeller drawing nor have I made the initial steps for the bleeding heart (the plant) painting I want to do. I am happy about how happy Mom was when I gave her the basket and the painting of a pink rose for Christmas. She said she was touched and glad that I drew something again. She encouraged me to draw more. Half-jokingly, she added that I must do as many drawings as possible before April, 2002, because she plans for us to go to Arizona to visit Mr. Saito, and I need to have new drawings to show him. The possibility that we will go is high...
