I'm back from skating.

Mood is still 3.0-4.0. I got "kicked out" of the Shimada Friedship Park parking lot again. I had skated for almost an hour and was planning to do some skills practice in the lot, but the park security(?) person came and told me the park was now closed and I had to leave. Poop. I didn't get to go through my cool-dowm period either >:( Oh, well, I was too lazy to drive somewhere else to skate some more... just drove back to the apartment. I'm beginning to recognize some of the same faces on the trails now. No pelicans today or the last two times I went skating. Saw 7 Snowy Egrets and a Great Egret. High tide. Missed the actual sunset, but got to see the beautiful sky after it did. I'm so lucky :) One thing I was concerned about: I smelled that bread-like smell today as I skated, and it made me wonder if the contamination of the saltwater marshes in that area (overheard 2 scientists/researchers taking samples the other day) were related to whatever factory was responsible for that smell.
