A better day than yesterday.

No real entry for me tonight. I crawled out of bed at 3pm (yeah, 2.5hrs earlier than yesterday). I feel better than I did last night--at about a 4.5 to a 5. I went with Mom to the bank and post office just to get out of the house; then we went on a walk for over an hour around the Seven Springs area and up the hill and part of the trail leading back to Seven Springs. I was happy I had the energy to do that. Saw birds--robins, juncos, canada goose, scrub jay, humming birds, mocking bird, barn swallows, sparrows, turkey vulture, waxwings... :) I went to the backyard and cut a big vase full of white calla lilies too (since we have so much of it.) Aiko says her friend Annie loves them. If Annie were back from college I'd give them to her. Instead Aiko got a mini lecture from me about the sexual parts and reproductive stages of the calla lily--the plant bio major in me couldn't help it, we had such fine specimens! She seemed interested though; so did Mom, but then again Mom's always interested in things like that. It looks nice in the kitchen--very alive and proud. Fishbone tore up part of her castle today and made a sizale pile of cardboard bits. She "dug" the rug in my room too.
