The Artist
Blouk is a French cartoon artist, illustrator and visual creator based in Belgium. With a playful and humorous style, Blouk brings characters and stories to life through comics, illustrations and silkscreen art — always with a touch of personality and a lot of ink.
Also a software developer for over 30 years and a self-proclaimed nerd, Blouk lives at the crossroads of code and creativity — equally at home behind a screen or with pen and paper.
Deeply influenced by the underground comix movement of the 60s, 70s and 80s, Blouk's work carries that raw, unfiltered energy — bold lines, sharp humor and a refusal to play it safe. Think ink-stained fingers and xeroxed zines, not galleries and white walls.
Blouk has contributed to Spread Love Comix and Rad Atlanta Fanzine, and co-founded Fragments Fanzine — keeping the DIY spirit of independent publishing alive and well.
The Work
From original cartoon illustrations to comic book creations, Blouk's portfolio spans a wide range of visual storytelling. Every piece is crafted with care, creativity, and a dash of irreverence.
