What an odd celebration. Bunnies and eggs and chickens and a man rising from the dead and going to a place called Heaven. From what I understand, his father must have hated him and he was highly disliked. So much so that his own people assisted in his death, that was orchestrated by his father?

I'm glad my parents don't show their love the same way that mans father did. How awful.

Hardly seems worth celebrating in any form, and it certainly doesn't explain a visit from a giant bunny that is meant to leave us chocolate and eggs.

At least the Santa Claus figure can be linked to symbolism in some way. He leaves gifts the way the Three Kings left gifts for the child. It's a stretch, truthfully, but a connection can be made.

This holiday has no connections. I find it very ridiculous.

People do not find me "creepy" or "unnerving" as they use to.

I imagine they would change their opinion if they knew how unnatural this was.

I took Gregory for a walk yesterday and was confronted by two of my classmates. They take issue with the fact that I find their intelligence lacking and their displays of masculinity rather pathetic. As we were isolated in the park and they considered me out numbered by one, they thought it would be the appropriate time to change my opinion.

They did not take Gregory into account. Should I see them again, I do not think they will be so careless. He may not look fearsome, but his teeth are still sharp.

[Filter: Parents]

What is going on?

Fish deaths, bird deaths, crab deaths, bee deaths, people deaths, the news appears to be nothing but death lately.

Hm. Many people seem to be over looking the people deaths and imagining some sort of apocalypse is on the horizon due to the massive animal deaths. People seem to be desperate for an apocalypse of any sort, there are theories all over the place about how the world is coming to an end.

They must be terribly bored.

[Filter: Zeus]

Make yourself plenty available for the next week or so.

Christmas is a nice celebration. I don't understand the theology behind it. The idea of worshiping a baby because one is told to seems a rather uninformed choice, as a baby has no way of earning the respect in order to be worshiped. But the family time and gift exchanging is nice. I received a puppy. His name is Gregory. One day he will be big enough and able enough to eat you should you dare to cross the threshold into our home uninvited.

Mortals mark their holidays in such unusual ways. Thanksgiving is celebrated by herding giant inflated creatures down the street on ropes and in the midst of a bunch of other mortals. And football. Football seems to be asking for trouble. I'm curious about this "Black Friday" business as well. I like the idea of having a meal with your family though.

Mama? Papa? Would it be all right if I attempted to fix a meal for our family?
