This is an area that was once a part of the traditional land of Roslagen in the <a href=\"https:\/\/biveros.com\/exploring-sweden\/uppland\/\">province of Uppland<\/a>. The church here was once the center of social and religious life within the old parish. The church is believed to have replaced a former wooden church. The parish was active until the Swedish Municipal Reform of 1862. This was when its responsibilities were split between the local government of the new municipality and the church congregation. In 1952, the new municipality was incorporated into H\u00e4ver\u00f6 Municipality, which in turn became a part of Norrt\u00e4lje Municipality in 1971. They are in turn surrounded by farmland and forests. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading has-text-align-center\" id=\"block-97a0daec-4cf0-4ebc-8667-8f59a29ec89d\">Edebo Church<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p id=\"block-dce25c0e-2e46-4da3-a495-478b9487274d\">The parish church is a stone church from the 15th century. It has an external wooden clock tower that probably dates back to 1758.
