It is today a part of Flen Municipality. The area has for centuries been used for farming with the church at the center of the community. The parish existed until the Swedish municipal reform of 1862 when it was split between the local government of Forssa Municipality and the church congregation. The municipality was 1952 incorporated into Bettna Municipality, which in 1971 became a part of Flen Municipality. For others it is to enjoy the Swedish countryside, maybe on a bike along the smaller roads through S\u00f6dermanland. Either way, on a sunny day there it is possible to just enjoy the landscape.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading has-text-align-center\" id=\"block-97a0daec-4cf0-4ebc-8667-8f59a29ec89d\">Forssa Church<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p id=\"block-dce25c0e-2e46-4da3-a495-478b9487274d\">Forssa Church dates back to the 14th century and it has an external clock tower from 1738. Farmland surrounds the white stone church. The church is today a part of Bettna Congregation within the Evangelical Lutheran Church of Sweden.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-gallery has-nested-images columns-3 is-cropped
