A Short History of Lundby

Lundby has for centuries been home to a small farming settlement. There has been the main farm surrounded by other smaller housing. The area was initially a part of Vagnhärad Parish and became a part of Trosa-Vagnhärad Parish after their merger in the early 20th century. Documents from 1944 state that the area was privately owned farmland and forests, with only a small part being used for gardening and animal grazing. There were 7 out of 8 housings at the time that had access to electricity for lightning.
