Understanding $BRISE: Nature, Utility, & Tokenomics

$BRISE is the native token of the Bitgert ecosystem, spearheading its major functionalities. It is compatible with our native BRC20 token standard, BSC’s BEP20, and Ethereum’s ERC20 token standard. The token has a deflationary supply model under which regular manual burns keep the supply under check.

As we near the middle of July 2024, the $BRISE token’s market cap is around $51.27 million. $BRISE has a circulating supply of over 388 trillion tokens, with a total supply amounting to 1,000 trillion $BRISE.

In this post, we aim to impart the nitty-gritty of $BRISE so you can better understand our native token!

$BRISE: BRC20 Token Standard

Let’s go back to the beginning. $BRISE is the reformed version of the BRISE Coin, which was a BEP20 token on the BNB Smart Chain, where the Bitgert ecosystem used to reside.

However, we have launched our own Layer 1 (aka Brise Chain), and the Bitgert ecosystem has migrated to its own chain. Our native utility token is named $BRISE. $BRISE is a BRC20 asset that follows the BRC20 protocol, a token protocol on the Brise Chain that is compatible with ERC20 and BEP20. You could say that BRC20 extends the premises of ERC20 and contains more interfaces.

$BRISE: Supply and Tokenomics

The full supply of 1,000,000,000,000,000 $BRISE coins was minted at the platform launch. The distribution of Bitgert (BRISE) is as follows:

  • 50.00% is allocated to Initial Burn
  • 38.00% is allocated to Liquidity
  • 7.00% is allocated to Future Development & Marketing
  • 5.00% is allocated to Dev Team

Here are the key points you need to know:

  • The $BRISE token has a limited supply divided between three chains: the Brise Chain, Ethereum, and the Binance Smart Chain (BSC). For now, there is $BRISE totaling 1.4 trillion on the Brise Chain, 3.3 trillion on Ethereum, and 384 trillion on the Binance Smart Chain.
  • The $BRISE token serves as the utility token in the Bitgert ecosystem.
  • Primary use cases of $BRISE include gas fees, staking, access to exchange pairs, unlocking various launchpad tiers, and more.
  • Buybacks from the secondary market and subsequent manual burns are employed to control inflation.

Where can you buy $BRISE tokens?

There are several CEXs and DEXs where you can buy $BRISE tokens. To name a few:

Check out CoinMarketCap for the full list of markets you can explore to buy $BRISE tokens.

The $BRISE token powers the Bitgert ecosystem and will be the driving force behind all native functionalities within the Bigert ecosystem, including Bitgert.exchange, BitgertSwap, the real estate marketplace, payment gateway, and more. You can also stake $BRISE tokens to earn up to 80% yields in $BEFE, the sister memecoin of the $BRISE token.
