BitcoinDay started in Omaha
Every year, tens of thousands of people come to Omaha for the Berkshire Hathaway Weekend to hear from their Great Leader. Warren Buffett is very vocal about his disdain for Bitcoin, and as such they don’t get to hear about the greatest money known to man. Bitcoin has ridiculously outperformed Berkshire Hathaway shares over the past decade, and just because Warren Buffett and Charlie Munger missed the boat doesn’t mean their followers should. So we dreamed up a parallel event as an outlet for those curious about Bitcoin.
What is BitcoinDay?
Now an exclusive annual event in Naples, Florida, BitcoinDay Naples is an intimate, single-day Bitcoin-only gathering designed to maximize high-signal conversations and meaningful connections while eliminating noise and distraction.
Our first year in Naples was 2023. Over the years, the event has evolved to bring together sophisticated Bitcoin investors, builders, entrepreneurs, and capital allocators for focused discussions with world-class speakers and thought leaders. In a carefully curated environment of approximately 200 attendees, participants enjoy direct, unhurried access to experts both on and off the stage.
Hosted at the Naples Beach Club, A Four Seasons Resort, BitcoinDay fosters the kind of genuine relationships that often lead to lasting business opportunities and long-term alliances, all in support of advancing a Bitcoin economy built on sound money and individual sovereignty.

Edward Weniger

Edward launched BitcoinDay in 2021 and has since held events in over eight cities across the country, blending a localized conference experience with sound money education for plebs and newbies. Edward started the first Bitcoin company in Nebraska in 2013, the same year he was orange-pilled, discovering a Bitcoin chart while trading penny stocks. His company deployed the first Bitcoin kiosk in Nebraska in 2015 and he currently runs MWarketplace, connecting Bitcoin miners and data centers with suitable sites. He has helped organize and/or spoken at many events including AIM Infotec, Nebraska Bankers Conference, Coinfest, Block-a-thon, Digital Economy Conference, and Midwest Fintech Roundtable.

John’s visionary leadership shines through in the development of BitcoinDay Naples, and other related events in Florida. With a strong network of experts and innovative companies in the local Bitcoin ecosystem, John is known for his ability to forge collaboration and inspire innovation. Additionally, John is VP at Curated Mining, a Naples-based Bitcoin mining company, and also leads a vibrant meetup group of over 600 members, demonstrating his commitment to community development and the balance of professional success with Naples culture.
