Earlswood Town have re-appointed Tom Reynolds as manager.
The former Earls defender succeeds Jason Pyott and returns to The Pavilions having previously been in charge as player-manager from 2019 to 2023.
Reynolds will be supported by a new partnership with Vanarama National League North club Leamington.
Further additions to his back room staff will be confirmed in due course.
As a player, Reynolds made 81 appearances for The Earls, scoring on seven occasions, having also previously played for the likes of Stourport, Racing Club Warwick and Highgate United.
His first foray into coaching came with AFC Solihull as player-manager before moving across to The Earls in Midland Football League Division Two.
Chairman Andy Walker said: ‘We are delighted to welcome Tom back to the football club. We were sad to see him leave us in two years ago as I knew we were yet to see the best of him in the dugout. Now that he has finally hung up his playing boots, we are fortunate to be able to benefit from this new chapter in his coaching career as he solely switches his focus to management.
‘Tom is our own Mr Earlswood Town having also invested time in our junior section over the last two years. We now have somebody at the helm who lives and breathes our entire club pathway.
‘We are also indebted to Leamington who will offer further support for Tom fresh off the back of what is looking likely to be a record-breaking season at step 2 of the non-league pyramid.’
Chris Knott, Leamington's first team coach and head of football development, added: “As a club, my aim for the off-season was to source a club where I could comfortably send a whole host of young players knowing they will have a fair chance of breaking into a men’s team.
"We’ve been really lucky to have one or two progress locally this season and we are indebted to those clubs for the opportunity.
"However, as well as knowing Andy and Tom so well off the pitch, during Tom's previous managerial reign at The Earls we had five or six players excel under his leadership, which is why I see this as a huge opportunity for not just one or two but for potentially a group of players to make their mark in men’s football, starting in pre season.
"Tom has also opened the door for aspiring coaches at our club to potentially work alongside him and our lead professional development phase (16+) coaches will drop in, deliver some sessions and be a mentor for those involved with regular visits and being an extra pair of eyes and ears for Tom if and when he requests.
“This is an exciting period for both clubs and I’m grateful to Andy and Tom for offering Leamington youngsters the chance to step up.”
Reynolds will also remain as head coach of Earlswood Town U9, soon to be U10, Golds in the Central Warwickshire Youth Football League.
