Uncommon Makes 2021 Registration Form
The Uncommon Hacks team is bringing you Uncommon Makes, a beginner-friendly, collaborative makeathon and workshop series! We'll be presenting a series of workshops and talks geared towards UChicago students interested in learning about technology or building a project of their own. The event will culminate in a collaborative, web-based project that will celebrate the creativity of the tech community at UChicago. Join us at the MADD Center and Crerar to learn, create, and make!

On the first day (Friday, November 12) of Uncommon Makes, we'll be presenting web-development workshops that will use case studies to introduce students to build their own project. The second day (Saturday, November 13th) of Uncommon Makes will be a makeathon to create your own project and meet new people, with the support of our mentors. We'll be serving dinner Friday night and snacks Saturday afternoon!

Note that this event is only open in-person for UChicago students, and we'll also be streaming workshops for remote participants.

About Uncommon Hacks:
Founded in 2016, Uncommon Hacks is a student organization at the University of Chicago that host a weekend-long celebration of technology where college students from everywhere come to Chicago to make fun, random, and innovative tech-related projects with friends old and new. Every year, we work hard to create Uncommon Hacks and Uncommon Makes where all are welcome, regardless of experience or background, and where outside-the-box projects and creative thinking are encouraged. During Uncommon Hacks 2021 last spring, we hosted more than 200 of the brightest and most highly motivated college and high school students.
