Washington Mystics History
The Washington Mystics are a professional women's basketball team in the Women's National Basketball Association (WNBA). Since their introduction in 1998 as one of the WNBA’s first expansion franchises, the Mystics have topped the Eastern Conference twice and won the WNBA Finals in 2019. The team was led in their early seasons by multi-season rebounding champion Chamique Holdsclaw and four-time All-Star Alana Beard. The Mystics reached their first Finals in 2018 behind the play of two-time WNBA MVP Elena Delle Donne. Washington returned to the Finals in 2019, winning a thrilling 3-2 series against the Connecticut Sun and delivering D.C. its first professional basketball title since 1978. Delle Donne won her second career MVP in 2019 while shooting the WNBA’s only 50-40-90 season, and teammate Natasha Cloud was named the WNBA Defensive Player of the Year in 2022. Both Delle Donne and Holdsclaw were inducted into the Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame in 2026.

I got prepaid parking and the walk to the arena was 5 minutes away !
It took a full 30-35 minutes to enter the arena. I barely made it to my seat just at tipoff. They need to let people into the venue earlier. Then, once I was end I had to deal with an extraordinarily obnoxious fan. It would be good if more security personnel was available in the stands.
Great atmosphere, drinks strong and reasonable, good food. The arena is clean, the game was great
Great Seats! Food & Drinks are so expensive. Parking very convenient. Prepare to pay $35.00
Great seating and great game even though Mystics loss. The food is great at the session stands and price not too bad. Had a great time👍🏽👍🏽👏🏾👏🏾
It was an amazing and fun experience. Lots of free giveaways fun fan atmosphere before the game next door . Halftime show was fun with the mascots ! Great atmosphere for kids. Go mystics
A’ja Wilson is the greatest women’s basketball player of all time that’s really all that needs to be said
We lost by two points BUT it was super fun. Lots of freebies and good entertainment. Good for kids, families and adults looking for a cool afternoon out.
No Handicap parking, and I wasn't able to find handicap via the website
I had a fantastic time at the Mystics vs. Storm WNBA game. The players played tenacious defense and fought hard til the end despite an odd lack of energy from much of the audience. I will say that the arena events in between quarters were some of the weirdest I’ve ever seen. It was sustainability night at the arena and many of the activities seemed like experimental activities that hadn’t been tested on a live audience 😅. All around great experience!
