Loudoun County Sheriff's Office Seeks Witnesses to Ashburn Pedestrian Incident

Loudoun County, VA (May 26, 2026): The Loudoun County Sheriff's Office is continuing to investigate an incident that occurred at the intersection of Farmwell Drive and Hemingway Drive in Ashburn on May 21, 2026.

At approximately 4:50 p.m., deputies responded to a report of a pedestrian struck in the roadway. Witnesses who arrived at the scene reported that a man picked up the adult woman lying in the road and placed her in a black GMC truck before leaving the area. The two individuals are known to each other, and this incident is not believed to be an abduction.

The man drove the woman to a local hospital, where she remains in serious but stable condition. Two young children who were present during the incident were taken to a relative's home.
